Controlled Environment Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION
Controlled Environment Operator – Medical Device Industry
Department: Manufacturing
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Job Type: Full-Time

Controlled Environment Operator (Cleanroom Operator)

• Primary Focus:
  • The manufacturing of medical device within a controlled environment
    • General Workplace Requirements
      • Follow all written work instructions
      • Report any quality or machine problems immediately
      • Keep your workspace clean and tidy.
      • Wear your safety gear (PPE) at all times
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Material Preparation: Weigh and sift raw materials, and mixing.
    • Molding Operations: Cold compacting and compression molding.
    • Process Control: Monitor production molding runs using an automated datalogger system.
    • Collaborate with production manager to adjust setup accordingly.
    • Post-Processing & Assembly: deburring of implants and installation of X-Ray markers. Operating laser marking systems, cosmetic inspections, and package finished parts.
    • Tooling & Cleanliness: Clean molds, clean tools, and follow strict cleanup rules between jobs.
  • Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Experience in manufacturing, molding, or a medical is a plus.
    • Experience in a medical device, or controlled environment is a plus.
    • Must be able to read and follow simple written instructions.
    • Ability to accurately measure and weigh materials.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
    • Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a production team.
    • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods during your shift and be comfortable working around heat, powder, and big machinery.
    • Strong attention to following strict work instructions and safety procedures
