AUBURN, Ind., May 20th, 2017—Stamets Tool & Engineering, Inc. today announced it has acquired the assets of Berne Medical Development, LLC, which offers design, development, and prototyping services for the medical device industry. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition of Berne will allow Stamets to increase and expand its advanced manufacturing capabilities in the medical instrument industry. New capabilities include laser etch and welding, as well as increased secondary processing with further polishing and blasting equipment.
